THERE YOU GO...

my A level results:

Chemistry(H2) - A
Mathematics(H2) - A
Physics(H2) - B
Econs(H1) - D
GP(H1) - E

yeah, quite satisfied with my overall results for my H2 subjects. As you can see, i am pretty much screwed up in my Econs and General paper for i placed little or rather, no emphasis on it ( applies to econs especially- GP i did study for it okay?) hAHA! anyway, i am glad i passed my GP. Can you imagine me, not passing a single gp paper since J2 till prelims and having to go through super intensive gp remedials but still not producing quality grades, now actually passed my gp? Yes, i thanked mdm betty tong dunno like how many thousand times....

Oh yes! That moment! it was magical; the feeling was great! The moment i saw my name being projected onto the very large screen, my jaws fell apart and i was screaming like mad. I couldnt believe that i am actually one of the people who did well for the exams (well, at least good enough for me) and i am glad most of my palsie in the class made it on the list as well!

Congrats to shihhan, engkien, justin, tianhao, tunkuang, celine, sinyee, huimei, patrick, yangxi, shumin, weifen and many many others whose names are screened on the very very large screen. =)) hard work pays off huh?! Also, not forgetting haikal, chin chian, revathi and all those who do well too!!

Yea, we expressed our gratitude to mdm betty tong, miss chan, miss xiao, mr james koh and even Charlie chan for producing these results. If not for them, i would have flunk many of my subjects....

Anyway, results out, come what be, i still wish everyone all the best in their future endeavour.....

BEST WISHES TO ALL! =)

YOU HEARD THE LATEST NEWS???
NO NO! NO MORE EDISON CHEN.....

RATHER, A LEVELS RESULTS ARE COMING OUT THIS FRIDAY! (freak out)

Anyway, this, the evidence... (click to have a larger view of it)

and to make things worse, already not-very-confident of getting good grades for this A levels, my dear physics teacher called me. He asked for my results- and i was stunned; my mind blank.

As the day draws near, the more sceptical am i to my results. I have been telling everyone that. But most of them are optimistic about my results (which me myself dont even dare to dream to getting straight As) and i am afraid i might let them down...

YOU TELL ME HOW?

i aint no RJC/HCI student you know? that "pick-up-a-stone-and-throw-at-anyone-and-that-person-is-likely-to-be-a-straight-As-student" kind of situation doesnt hold for PJC (although i HAVE TO ADMIT the fact that PJC does produce some cream of the crop, but HOW MANY? YOU SAY???). my plight is grim, and the situation is truly as such.

anyway, my anxiety is building up, and the syndrome of insomnia is beginning to show.

HELP ME- SAVE ME FROM THIS AGONY

just give me my desired grades and to my desired course...

i must be insane.

THE LEAP YEARS
"a sage once decreed, that a man must agree to a woman's proposal today... give me a sign, whether to meet me at eight at the same place you sit and fulfill the tradition of febuary 29th...."

sounds familiar? no? not at all? well, its a short short short excerpt from the movie "the leap years".

Yes, i caught the first show today at cineleisure and i think it was a good one (if you are one who goes for some old fashion romance with some good local flavour that is) overall. i love this movie truck loads, especially wong li-lin (my idol) haha!

I have to admit that the movie is quite touching and romantic although there are occasional touch-and-go parts which will leave us quite perplexed. BUT on the whole, a great movie indeed, not over-rated at all. i just think that the movie critics from The Straits Times and LIVE938 News too stingy with their stars for the ratings. Should have given the movie 3.5 stars! (Have to admit the movie is not perfect but at least it is commendable!)

well, go catch this movie if you have the time. I gurantee you will like it (cause even a love-idiot like me knows how to appreciate this local production, why cant you?)

NEXT MOVIE: P.S. I LOVE YOU (sry, have been living behind time all these while.. please give me somemore time.. =)) )

TOKYO-RESTAURANT
can someone please watch over my diet? It's becoming bad to worse... Ever since i stepped out of GE (working-life that is), i've been gorging myself with utterly sinful indulgence and with no stop to it.

Furthermore, i've been practising the uber unhealthy routine of "EAT-SLEEP-PLAY" with no free slots for training/conditioning exercises for my NS due in April. i think i am so dead for my BMT. =(

anyway, here are some of the kiddish shots i took yesterday at the Tokyo-japanese restaurant at Amara hotel as it was my Dad's annual "Big-shots" get-together session for the year.....

ENJOY!

paper steamboat. with fresh salmon (or tuna?) -not that i know of)

Cheerios.. with that ghastly crumpled tissue paper on my table.

oh what? HAHA! sorry for that face. you guys can try figure out what word am i trying to say while this shot was being taken. -no prizes for guessing the right word!- HAHA

one last shot from the previous post...
i love this candid shot...
meanwhile, for those waiting for A level results, hold your breath.... everything will turn out to be fine. OPTIMISTIC! OPTIMISTIC! OPTIMISTIC!
all the best to you! =)
