the IRONY of the word, GATHERING....

one gathering after another for 3 consecutive weeks. so happening huh?

went timbre @ the arts house with them again last night and it was a total bore. no, dont get me wrong. timbre is good, the songs are good; its the poeple i went with.

how so?

even before the band started, all of them started to complain, whine and eventually, they left- one after another. i was appalled and aghast by their behaviour. apart from that, i was thankful that at least my sister and her friend bothered to drop by to accompany me as they were around that vicinity at that point of time. =)

i was grateful to my sis- for she is going overseas today and had to wake up early. she didnt complaint. she still went to the extend of accompanying me listening to the live band and even asked if i wanted some dedications. yes, she wanted to dedicate some songs to cheer me up. how sweet can that be? thanks loads, my sister. haha!

for all these, i realise that your family and some of your closest friends are still the ones who will stand by you regardless of where are you (like yesterday my sis went to look for me at timbre), and when (it was around 10 pm last night). i was grateful for that.

anyway, lets not brood about this anymore.

no next time, i tell myself.

at least i ate that inhouse specialty thin crust pizzas, that buffalo wings, downed pints of beer and listened to my favourite songs from the live band at my favourite place.

satisfied enough. dont expect too much. HAHA.
